If you wish to travel to Australia for business reasons, you will require an Australian Business Visa. There are various types of Australia business visas. A long stay Australian business visa allows you to visit Australia to conduct appropriate business activities. This includes meetings, conferences, negotiations and exploratory business visits. You are not allowed to actually work except for where the work can not be done by an Australian citizen. Under those circumstances you are able to work for a short period of time. When entering under Australian business visas you may not act, perform music or take part in commercial film making.

Australia business visas are now processed and issued electronically and are known as ETA’s (Electronic Travel Authority.) Your Australia business visa will be electronically attached to your passport by our Australian Government licensed computer system.

All applications for an Australia business visa must be lodged from outside Australia. It takes around 24 hours for Australian business visas to be processed. You will receive confirmation that your visa has been granted via email. This can be posted to you if you prefer.
