The Australia tourist visa is for those wanting to travel for a holiday, tourism or to visit friends and family.
Although this visa is valid for 12months you can stay for no longer than 3months (90 days). Once your Australia tourist visa is granted, it will be electronically attached to your passport. This means you will not be issued with a stamp or label. Your airline will do a visa status check when you go to get your flight. We will issue you with email confirmation for your own reference. This shows all the details entered on to the system. The cost of this visa is £16.
To apply for an Australia tourist visa (ETA) you must:
- Hold a valid passport
- Be outside of Australia
- Have relevant means of payment

To apply for an (ETA) Australia tourist visa you will be required to supply:
- Exact Passport details
- Contact details
- Means of payment
You must follow the following conditions of your Australia tourist visa once granted:
- The Australia tourist visa is valid for visits to Australia for tourism, to visit friends or relatives only.
- The maximum length of each visit is three months however is valid for multiple visits within 12 months from date of issue.
- You may not work while in Australia.
Please note we advise that your passport is valid for at least 6months from your departure date. This is at the discretion of your airline whether you can travel on your passport if you do not have the recommend six months validity.
If you renew your passport after obtaining an Australia tourist visa you cannot simply relocate your visa to your new passport. You will have to obtain a new Australia tourist visa to match your details of your new passport.
